Introducing.. ORGUEIL by Studio D'Artisan

While in Japan a couple months ago visiting some of the brands and mills that we work with, we checked in with Studio D'Artisan to take a look at their latest offerings, and we were pleasantly surprised to find out that they had developed a new brand called Orgueil, which in French can mean pride, vanity or arrogance. It's a completely different aesthetic then what we're used to from the guys at SDA but they've done an incredible job with it. Fall/Winter 2012 is the first collection and we're extremely happy to be the first and currently only store outside of Japan to be carrying it. The brand is influenced by an updated blend of late 19th - early 20th century European tailoring and American workwear. Every piece is made in Japan and so everything from the materials used, to the craftsmanship and detail is top notch.  One of the standout pieces from this first season is the Herringbone Sack Coat which comes with piping, multicolored nut buttons and surgeon's cuffs. Price to quality ratio is amazing. Along with the sack coat, we picked up the bowler hat, windsor collar shirt, and a tie to start things off. All items can be paired with denim which is what the guys had in mind. All items are currently available in-store. We'll have these up on the website for you in a couple days but for now, a little preview. [gallery ids="377,378,374,376,379,380,375"]
