What if hardcore heavyweight raw Japanese selvedge denim was… comfortable?
Following the Fall Winter 2021 season’s Elephant X, Naked & Famous Denim presents the Elephant X S, taking that 19oz indigo selvedge denim and infusing it with 2% stretch for added comfort in a heavyweight raw denim. The face of the denim features a deep indigo that will produce high contrast fades as you break them in. What really sets this fabric apart is its space grey weft, which lends the denim a cool undertone in its raw state but will really enhance the character of the Elephant X S as it fades.
If you don’t look too hard, you might see the indigo warp and contrast stitching, and think this is a traditional selvedge denim, but look closer to see the luxurious embellishments: chromed out buttons and rivets, and even a metallic chrome selvedge ID.
