Made from short slub yarns, this 12.5oz Japanese selvedge denim starts off crispy and rigid, as raw denim should. The slubs—the irregularities in the yarn—might seem subtle at first, but as the denim fades, they come to life, creating those coveted vertical fade patterns.
At 12.5oz, the weight is a sweet spot: heavy enough to feel substantial but not so dense that you’re sweating through summer.
Details matter, and the natural vegetable-tanned leather patch on these jeans is more than just a logo stamp. Created by Matt Verdier, an artist known for his psychedelic, retro-inspired designs, this patch will darken and develop a deep patina over time.
