Brown Fox Selvedge
The Brown Fox Selvedge is a lightweight fabric for the denim connoisseur. The 10.5 oz denim comes in its raw unsanforized form protecting the beautiful irregularities in the fabric that are usually flattened, singed, and heated out in common fabric pre-shrinking procedures. To remove the shrinkage from the fabric the jeans have undergone a rinse wash cycle. This eliminates the guesswork with sizing and the need to pre-soak the jeans before wearing. Most denim is made with a bleached cotton white weft interior, brightening the fabric, but the warm undertones present in the Brown Fox Selvedge come from naturally colored, eco-friendly American grown Foxfibre® cotton weft yarns. Foxfibre® cotton grows naturally in three shades: light beige, medium brown, and subdued green. Both the brown and the green varieties are woven into the weft giving the whole fabric richness, depth, and warmth that enhance the denim’s texture. Beyond being interesting for its own sake, Foxfibre® saves large quantities of water and chemicals that are required in most dyeing processes. The detailing matches the earthy aesthetic. To add durability to this lightweight denim, American grown long staple Supima cotton is used on the exterior warp. Brown selvedge ID. Brown raging bull pull-up leather patch.
