Japan Heritage Black
First released in 2011, the Naked & Famous Denim Japan Heritage quickly became a one of our most loved fabrics.
Its gritty grain is reminiscent of hand-woven fabrics and is created by combining short-slub yarns woven at a low tension on decades-old shuttle looms, and then left in it’s natural loomstate unsanforized form.
9 years later, we’re dropping the latest iteration: the Japan Heritage Black. Woven the same way as its ancestors with the incredibly slubby 14oz fabric, but this version has been dyed a rich deep black. Tonal stitching, black non-reflective buttons and rivets, and the Pebbled Black Luxe leather patch seal the blackout aesthetic.
The selvedge ID, though, is a crisp white with the familiar pink running stitch just like the Japan Heritage that came before.
