Dripping with allusions to Wes Craven’s 1984 horror classic Nightmare on Elm St, the Freddy Krueger - Springwood Slasher Selvedge is a 12.5oz Japanese selvedge denim with a menacing red hue from the red weft bleeding through the indigo warp yarns. But much like the parents of the Elm Street children, you’ll have to dig deeper to uncover what secrets are hidden inside. Flip the cuff and you’ll see the interior weft isn’t just dyed red, it’s also coated with green stripes to match Freddy Krueger’s iconic sweater. The denim is rigid and has that classic crisp raw denim feel. On the back of the jeans, you’ll find the full color printed leather patch and scratch pocket embroidery. Other details include the blackened mil spec non reflective buttons and rivets, dual branded logo on the waistband, contrast stitching, and a blood red ticker on the selvedge ID.
